The Sleep Study Unit within the 1st Department of Psychiatry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens supports research and education in sleep medicine and sleep science. Areas of interest include sleep microarchitecture, EEG and EOG analysis, insomnia, and the relationship between sleep and neurodegenerative disease. Through clinical and academic collaboration, the unit contributes to the study of sleep physiology, sleep disorders, and their impact on mental and neurological health.
