The Sleep and Memory Lab at Western University investigates the relationships between sleep, cognition, memory, and neurodegenerative disease. Affiliated with the Western Institute for Neuroscience and collaborating clinical and research partners, the laboratory focuses on sleep-related biomarkers, cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease, and sleep-based interventions. Through experimental and translational research, the program contributes to understanding how sleep influences brain health, ageing, and cognitive decline while supporting the development of novel approaches to dementia prevention and care.
