The Sunnybrook Sleep and Brain Health Research Program, affiliated with the University of Toronto and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, investigates the relationships between sleep, brain health, ageing, stroke, and neurodegenerative disease. Research areas include sleep-disordered breathing, sleep physiology, cognitive decline, dementia risk, neuroimaging, and vascular health. Through clinical, imaging, and population-based research, the program contributes to understanding how sleep influences neurological function, cognitive ageing, and long-term brain health.
